1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

What We Provide

Synora Parenting provides parent coaching and educational guidance services, including:

• Individual parent coaching sessions
• Group coaching programs
• Educational workshops and courses
• Digital resources and materials

What We Do NOT Provide

Services provided by Synora Parenting are educational in nature and do NOT constitute:

• Medical care, diagnosis, or treatment
• Mental health therapy or counseling
• Legal, financial, or other professional advice
• Treatment for your child's medical or developmental conditions

3. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• - Provide Accurate Information: Share accurate information during intake and sessions
• - Attend Sessions: Attend scheduled sessions or provide advance notice for cancellations
• - Participate Actively: Engage in the coaching process and implement strategies between sessions
• - Maintain Appropriate Expectations: Understand that results vary and coaching is not a quick fix
• - Seek Appropriate Help: Obtain professional help for medical, mental health, or crisis situations
• - Respect Intellectual Property: Use provided materials for your personal parenting journey only

4. Scheduling and Cancellation Policy

Scheduling

Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement. You will receive confirmation and any preparation materials prior to your session.

Cancellation Policy

• 48+ hours notice: Full reschedule or credit
• 24-48 hours notice: 50% credit toward future session
• Less than 24 hours or no-show: No refund or credit
• Emergency exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis

Late Arrivals

Sessions begin at the scheduled time. Late arrivals will not extend the session end time. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be treated as a cancellation.

Coach Cancellations

If we must cancel or reschedule, you will receive full rescheduling or refund at your choice.

5. Fees and Payment

Payment Terms

• Payment is due at time of booking unless otherwise arranged
• We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as listed at checkout
• All fees are in US Dollars unless otherwise specified

Refund Policy

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will attempt to contact you. Services may be paused until payment is resolved.

6. Confidentiality

Our Commitment

Information you share during coaching is treated confidentially. We will not disclose your information to third parties except:

• With your written consent
• As required by law
• To protect safety (yours, your children's, or others')
• To our professional advisors bound by confidentiality

Limitations

• Group Coaching: In group programs, we cannot control what other participants share
• Testimonials: Only used with your explicit written consent
• Anonymized Information: May be used for educational purposes

Your Commitment

In group programs, you agree to maintain confidentiality about other participants' identities and shared information.

7. Intellectual Property

Ownership

All content, materials, methodologies, and resources provided through Synora Parenting remain our intellectual property or that of our licensors.

Your License

You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use provided materials for your own parenting journey.

Prohibited Uses

You may NOT:

• Reproduce, distribute, or share materials with others
• Use materials for commercial purposes
• Create derivative works from our content
• Record sessions without written consent
• Share session recordings or transcripts

Your Content

You retain ownership of information and content you share. By sharing, you grant us permission to use this information to provide services.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not warrant that:

• Services will meet your specific requirements
• Services will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free
• Results obtained from services will be accurate or reliable
• Any specific outcomes will be achieved

Coaching is a collaborative process. Results depend on many factors including your individual circumstances, effort, and commitment.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

1. 1. Our total liability for any claims arising from services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific services giving rise to the claim.
2. 2. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: lost income or profits, emotional distress, relationship outcomes, and decisions made based on coaching discussions.
3. 3. You acknowledge that coaching is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Synora Parenting, its owner, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of our services
• Your breach of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party

11. Emergency Situations

Parent coaching is NOT appropriate for crisis situations.

Synora Parenting does not provide emergency or crisis intervention services.

12. Termination

By You

You may terminate the coaching relationship at any time with written notice. Refunds for unused prepaid sessions will be handled according to our Refund Policy.

By Us

We reserve the right to terminate services if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in behavior that is abusive or disruptive
• Coaching is not appropriate for your situation
• Non-payment of fees

Upon termination:

• Completed sessions are non-refundable
• Unused prepaid sessions handled per Refund Policy
• Access to digital materials may continue or be revoked per program terms
• We may retain records as required by law

13. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

We encourage direct communication to resolve concerns. Please contact us at legal@synoraparenting.com with any issues.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Time Limitation

Any claim must be brought within one (1) year of the event giving rise to the claim.

14. General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Synora Parenting.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision in the future.

Assignment

We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms. You may not assign your rights without our written consent.

Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or website notice. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance.
